Brian Farrow, teacher at Cold Springs Middle School, leads the way to implement and sustain the Purple Hands Pledge® in his school and other schools in the Washoe School District of Reno, Nevada.
Brian Farrow is now the Dean at Pine Middle School in Reno, Nevada. 

♥ October 1, 2008, Cold Springs Middle School hosted the Hands and Words Are Not For Hurting® assembly at their school.

♥ On a beautiful sunny morning, 10 school buses arrived at Cold Springs Middle School carrying all of the students from feeder elementary schools Silverlake Elementary, Gomes Elementary, and Booth Elementary.

♥ Over 2,000 students in K-8^th grade stood together with their hands over their hearts and recited the Purple Hands Pledge® to stop abuse, violence, and suicide.

♥ School district officials, Public Officials, School Resource Officers, and multiple community partners attended and supported the launch of the Hands And Words Are Not For Hurting Project® in their schools.
