⭐️ Dr. Thomas Hall ⭐️
Named the Top High School principal in New York by the School Administrators Association of New York State in 2017

Dr. Thomas Hall became Principal of Brighton High School in 2012.

Dr. Hall was the former Principal of French Road Elementary, recipient of the U.S. Department of Education’s Blue Ribbon Award.

Dr. Hall successfully implemented the Purple Hands Pledge® at French Road Elementary in 2009. That same year, the Pledge was introduced to Brighton High School with the help of Lance Mitchell, Social Worker, Prevention/Intervention Specialist.

♥ Students spotlight an Annual Purple Week where all high school clubs unite and host events throughout the week focused on human kindness.

♥ Students involved in the Friends of Rachel Club and the Care Team invite and encourage all students to take the Purple Hands Pledge®

At their big fall assembly each year, the students recite the Purple Hands Pledge® in 27 languages that represent the diversity of their city. 

The 27 Languages Include:
African Languages, Arabic, Chinese, English, French, French Creole, German, Gujarati, Greek, Hebrew, Hindi, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Laotian, Persian, Polish, Russian, Serbo Croatian, Spanish, Tagalog, Ukrainian, Vietnamese.
